Greetings Brethren,
Congratulations to our officers who moved up in line at our June meeting, it was nice to see brethren take a step forward in their masonic journey. Unfortunately 2 officers could not make it but Erik Marple will need installed at a future meeting most likely in July. It is also likely that Brother Anthony Branch may well be ready to turn his catechism for the 3rd degree, which is always honorable for the candidate and a pleasure to see for those attending.
We would like to note that Brother Charlie Cunningham is in all likelihood in the final stages of life as he has been diagnosed with an aneurysm (If I remember correctly) among other issues and can not be medically treated. It is therefor important to reach out now to Brother Charlie if you know him before his passing into the Lodge on High. He wishes to have a Masonic Funeral so please show your support if you are able to. Also Brother Dave Mahlke had his back surgery moved up and missed the meeting. As I understood from the report given by Brother Jim Wharton he recuperating well and looks
to make a good recovery.
We are having another 200 year committee meeting on the 25th of June (Thursday) at 7pm to comb over a few other things for the Gala. Anyone who is interested may of course attend. It will be at the SR building
in the Library room.
Finally the Picnic is set for the 12th of July at 1pm – 5 pm at the Levenson Shelter at Oglebay and anyone is welcome (Family & Other Lodge Members). I hope it will be an enjoyable time for everyone. We will be having great food, games with prizes and most importantly good fellowship and memories to share. I hope to see you there.
